Principal's Profile

Mr. Todd J. Kolson has served as principal at Mars Area Middle School since 2016.

 

Kolson began his career at Mars Area School District in 2002 as assistant principal at Mars Area High School. He also later served as the District’s interim Director of Pupil Services prior to being appointed principal at Mars Area High School (2008-2016).

 

He holds a master’s degree in educational leadership and superintendent letter of eligibility from Westminster College; a bachelor’s degree in health & physical education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.

 

Before coming to Mars Area School District, Kolson served as educational director, educational supervisor, athletic director, teacher and coach at Abraxas High School and as assistant principal at Cranberry Junior/Senior High School.
