Mars Area Middle School FOR (Friends of Rachel) Club will celebrate Red Ribbon Week (Oct. 21-25) with the following theme days:
- Monday, Oct. 21 — “Your Choices are Key to Your Dreams” Day. Students may wear pajamas.
- Tuesday, Oct. 22 — “Two Against One Defeating Drugs & Vaping” Each student and a friend may dress like twins.
- Wednesday, Oct. 23 — “No More Black Lungs or Polluting Our Bodies with Vape or Drugs!” Day. Students may wear bright colors.
- Thursday, Oct. 24 — “Drugs are Sooo Outdated!” Day. Students may wear ‘80s-styled clothes.
- Friday, Oct. 25 — “Save Your Money for Something FUN! Lei Off Vaping & Drugs!” Day. Students may wear Hawaiian clothes.
Red Ribbon Week, sponsored by National Family Partnership, is an annual drug, alcohol and tobacco prevention awareness campaign. For more information, call (724) 625-3145.
