Parent Advisory Board (PAB)
The Parent Advisory Board (PAB) is a group of volunteer parents who represent both grade levels and meet monthly with the Principals to:
Provide support and assistance for the Middle School Education Programs Act as a "direct communications" channel between parents and the Middle School Provide ancillary support directly to the staff, students and parents Help continue progressive, positive directions for the Middle School.
The Parent Advisory Board volunteers are always needed. To sign up to be a parent volunteer, please complete the following and return it to the main office at Mars Area Middle School:
Parent resources are available to all parents at the Mars Area Public Library. Books, pamphlets and videos regarding current issues on parenting the adolescent continually updated by the Parent Advisory Board's Resources Committee.
Mars Area Middle School parents, aided by the Parent Advisory Board, have an active volunteer program. Opportunities are available in the many areas including the following: Public Relations, Copying, Welcoming Committee, Magazine Sales, Parent Resources, Teacher Luncheon, School Spirit Dances, and Baking.
