Mars Area School District is holding ImPACT computer-based concussion testing for student-athletes participating in fall sports, Aug. 9-20 at Mars Area High School.
All student-athletes entering Grades 7, 9 and 11 are required to submit to testing as well as any student who has not received a baseline test in the past. Schedule is as follows:
High School Sports
- Monday, Aug. 9 — Varsity/JV Girls Volleyball #1, 9 a.m.; Varsity/JV Boys Soccer #1, 10 a.m.; Varsity/JV Football #1, 11:15 a.m.
- Tuesday, Aug. 10 — Varsity/JV Girls Soccer #1, 8:30 a.m.; Seventh/Eighth Grade Football, 10:15 a.m.; Varsity/JV Football #2, 11:15 a.m.; Varsity Girls Golf, noon
- Wednesday, Aug. 11 — Varsity/JV Girls Volleyball #2, 9 a.m.; Varsity/JV Girls Tennis, 10 a.m.; Varsity/JV Boys Soccer #2, 11 a.m.; Varsity/JV Girls Soccer #1, noon
- Thursday, Aug. 12 — Varsity/JV Girls Volleyball #3, 9 a.m.; Varsity/JV Boys Golf, 10 a.m.; Varsity Coed Cross Country, 11 a.m.; Make-up Testing, noon

- Tuesday, Aug. 17 — Eighth Grade Cheerleading, 11:15 a.m.; Seventh/Eighth Grade Girls Soccer #1, noon; Seventh/Eighth Grade Boys Soccer #1, 1 p.m.
- Wednesday, Aug. 18 — Seventh/Eighth Grade Coed Cross Country #1, noon; Seventh/Eighth Grade Girls Soccer #2, 1 p.m.; Seventh/Eighth Grade Football, 2 p.m.
- Thursday, Aug. 19 — Seventh/Eighth Grade Coed Cross Country #2, noon; Seventh/Eighth Grade Boys Soccer #2, 1 p.m.
- Friday, Aug. 20 — Make-up Testing, noon
While it is not required, student-athletes are encouraged to wear a face covering (mask or shield). All participants will be asked to practice proper social distancing at all times.
