Randall received the honor for his more than 100 hours of volunteer service through Hope Lutheran Church (Cranberry Township), where he participated in various activities, such as being Vacation Bible School crew leader. He also joined in mission work in Connellsville, Pa.; volunteered at the monthly Reality Tour drug prevention program and the annual American Cancer Society Relay for Life Golf Tournament; and participated in the church’s Relay for Life Team.
The President’s Volunteer Service Award recognizes U.S. citizens who have achieved the required number of hours of service during a 12-month period. Those ages 11-15 who complete more than 100 hours of volunteer service achieve Gold Level status.
