Mars Area Middle School is looking for a team of students to compete in the Southwest PA Regional Middle School Science Bowl, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy.

The Science Bowl is a competitive science event among teams of middle school students who compete in a fast-paced verbal forum to solve technical problems and answer questions in all branches of science and math. Each team is composed of four students and one alternate student.

The regional event will be held on Saturday, March 2, at CCAC — South Campus.  

The qualifying exam to join this team will be given during activity period on Thursday, Nov. 16.

Note: If you are interested in qualifying for the Science Bowl Team but are unable to take the exam on Thursday, Nov. 17, please let Mrs. Stavish ([email protected]) or Mrs. Winter ([email protected]) know ahead of time and we can make other arrangements for you.
