Four members of Mars Area Middle School’s MathCounts Team will compete in the 2021 Pennsylvania State MathCounts Competition.

Eighth-grader Carson Mahan and seventh-graders Levi Jackson, Naveen Jayaraman and Joseph Shebek placed among the Top 5 students at the virtual 2021 MathCounts Midwestern Pennsylvania Chapter Regional Competition (Feb. 25) and qualified for the state contest. Eighth-graders Derek Piatek and seventh-graders Jaxon Hittle and Andersen Palmer also competed in the initial rounds of the 2021 MathCounts competition.
