Mars Area Middle School will offer the following presentations/events for eighth grade students, who will be transitioning to night grade at Mars Area High School in the 2024-2025 School Year, and/or their parents/guardians:

Wednesday, Jan. 24 – Eighth Grade Science (Periods 1-4)

AND

Thursday, Jan. 25 – Eighth Grade Science (Periods 5-9)

• 8th Grade Science teachers will escort students to the LGI each period
• The high school guidance counselor will present programming and course offerings

Tuesday, Jan. 30 – Eighth Grade Parent/Guardian Schedule Presentation

• This is an evening program at the high school at 6 p.m.
• The high school will send a parent invitation letter to all 8th grade parents

Thursday, Feb. 1 – EIghth Grade JROTC Presentation

• Eighth Grade Social Studies teachers will escort students to the LGI each period
• JROTC instructors and cadets will present JROTC programming and course offerings

Monday, Feb. 12, through Friday, Feb. 16 – Eighth Grade Individual Scheduling Meetings 

• The High School Counselor will meet with every student for a 5-10 minute scheduling meeting
• Students will receive a pass to attend these meetings
