PHONE CALL SENT IN ERROR - Because of a technical issue, a phone message was sent in error with the e-mail message that was distributed regarding the minor school bus accident at Mars Area Middle School this afternoon (Monday, March 6). This message is to notify you that two (2) Mars Area School District secondary school buses (#12 and #26) were involved in a minor accident on the Mars Area Middle School campus this afternoon (Monday, March 6).

Several students were on the buses at the time of the accident and were checked by medical personnel. No injuries were reported. The District is in the process of contacting the parents/guardians of those students, who were on the affected buses. 

Please note that secondary buses #12 and #26 will be delayed in picking up Mars Area High School students as well as in transporting secondary students their designated bus stops this afternoon. In addition, these delays are also expected to affect the District's elementary bus runs. Therefore, parents/guardians of elementary students, who ride buses #12 and #26, may also expects some delay in afternoon drop-off times.
