Mars Area Middle School Spirit Club is holding a school competition, Wednesday, Nov. 1, through Wednesday, Nov. 15, to benefit the “Hang Tough: Stockings Stuffed with Love & Care” project.

Each homeroom will be given one stocking to stuff with a minimum of eight items and will receive an additional stocking once each is filled. The homeroom that fills the most stockings will receive a breakfast snack.

Stocking stuffers may include hygiene items, snack foods, games, new winter clothing, stationary, beverages, gift cards and more. A complete list of suggested items is available online at www.hangtoughstockings.com.
