The charter buses for the Eighth Grade Cedar Point Field Trip plan to arrive at Mars Area Middle School by 9:45 p.m. on Friday, May 17.

It is important that all parents, who are arriving to pick-up students, use the parking lots at the building to alleviate traffic congestion and avoid blocking thruways around the building. All vehicles should park in a designated parking spot near the Mars Athletic Complex lot, in the staff parking lot in front of the Mars Area Middle School, or the parking lot near Route 228.

Vehicles should NOT line up in thruways of the school. The five charter buses will need room to pull in front of the Mars Area Middle School. Students should exit the buses and report to your parking location. While exiting the parking areas, please use caution, drive slow, and accommodate other vehicles as you exit Mars Area Middle School property.

If possible, please use cell phones to communicate your parking location to your son/daughter when you arrive so that they can report to your parking location, instead of picking them up in front of the building. We strongly encourage the use of carpooling to alleviate traffic congestion.
