Mars Area High School Counseling Center will offer an Information Meeting for parents/guardians of incoming freshmen (current eighth-graders) at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11, in the auditorium.

All eighth grade parents/guardians are encouraged to participate. High school guidance counselors and administrators will explain the various programs and courses that will be available to students during the 2025-2026 School Year as well as the course selection process.

Guidance counselors met with eighth grade students on Jan. 29-30, to discuss and distribute course selection manuals. Parents/guardians will be asked to refer to the manual at the Information Meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 11.
