Two Mars Area Middle School students received awards for their entries in the 2018 Animal Friends Poster Contest.

Seventh-grader Naiya Patel was named a Grade Level Winner and seventh-grader Madeline Chileski earned an Honorable Mention. The contest, open to students in Grades 1-8, asked participants to design a poster around the 2018 theme, “Pets Need Our Help.”

All first place winners will receive a certificate, t-shirt and an opportunity to name an Animal Friends “resident.” All winning posters will be on display at Animal Friends, Friday, May 25, through the summer.
