MAMS Inducts 2018-2019 Student Government Officers

Mars Area Middle School held its annual Planet Peace/ Rachel’s Challenge, School Spirit & Student Government Kickoff on Oct. 5.

As part of the event, the school’s Student Government announced its 2018-2019 class officers. Eighth grade officers are Sam Schultz (president) and Matthew Littleton (vice president) and seventh grade officers are Enzo Grieco (president) and Madalynn DeNomme (vice president).

Homeroom representatives are eighth-graders Benjamin Astbury, Brianne Belich, Riley Connelly, Lexie Cunningham, Josh Dunham, Griffin Frazier, Jonathan Grieco, Kyra Harvey, Taylor Hollern, Carter King, Mia Lipscomb, Kyle McEwen, Lucie Morlino, Kate Muchnok, Eva Ranalli, Mia Schterengarts, Billy Sommers, Ethan Stewart, Taylor Tumulty and Olivia Wilson; and seventh-graders Gus Aubrecht, Anna Bowser, Logan Caparosa, Ryan Ceh, Paige Ditson, Nicholas Ferrari, Peter Gonzalez, Lily Goodworth, Adam Julian, Mary Kalkowski, Claire Magness, Jack MacKenzie, Will Matusek, McKenna Merritt, Luke Olshenske, Ainsley Ray, Gabrianna Salvini, Meghan Smith, Nora Solich, Calise Whaley and Ethan Vitale,

The student government program at Mars Area Middle School is modeled after state and federal government, giving a practical lesson in how government works. The program and its activities are a means of developing pride in the school and in the community.
