Mars Area Middle School will hold a collection to benefit the Tree of Life Synagogue.

The school’s Community Service Committee and FOR (Friends of Rachel) Club will be selling black and gold “#PittsburghStrong” and “Stronger Than Hate” bracelets for $2 during all lunch periods. Students will also have an opportunity to add their name and a message of kindness to a paper leaf that will be added to a tree on display at the school.

Anyone interested in donating to the cause may do so in the school’s main office. Checks may be made payable to “Tree of Life Victims & Families.”
