Students who are interested in running for Mars Area Middle School Student Council  must complete the following application by the due dates listed.

2026-2027 MAMS Student Council Application 

2026-2027 School Year Elected Positions:

Eighth Grade Class Representative: 10 available positions

Seventh Grade Class Representative: 10 available positions

All interested candidates must complete the following tasks by the due dates listed:

• Student Council Representative Application/Petition — due by 8 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17, to Mrs. Winter.
• Candidate Nomination Statement — emailed to [email protected] by 8 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17.

All qualified candidate nomination statements will be distributed to the student body to decide what candidates that they would like to vote for.

Voting for Seventh and Eighth Grade Student Council, Class Representatives, elections will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 22, and Wednesday, Sept. 23.  

ALL STUDENTS will vote for their respective grade level representatives. Elected candidates will be announced and sworn into office at the Student Council Kick-Off Assembly on Friday, Sept. 25.
