On Thursday, Feb. 19, Mars Area Middle School will host an Open House from 6 to 8 p.m.

You will have the opportunity to meet your child’s teachers. We encourage you to bring your child with you. Parents can see the progress on daily work, projects, and instructional programs that the students have experienced this school year. Additionally, the guidance staff will be available to discuss study habits, test taking skills, and Student Assistance Programming (SAP).

The evening will be structured in a manner that is flexible to your schedule. You may visit teachers and classrooms at any time and in any order during these two hours. Middle school staff will be available to help direct you to your destinations. Please enter the middle school through the main entrance.

The primary purpose of Open House is to meet your child’s teachers and become more familiar with the instruction that your child has experienced in the classroom. If you feel there is a need to meet with a teacher to discuss how your child is performing, please contact him or her directly to schedule an appointment.

While we encourage all parents to attend our Open House, several teachers will not be present for open house. Below, you will find a list of teachers who will not be present. We apologize if this causes any inconvenience.
