Mars Area Middle School Eighth Grade Recognition Ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, at Mars Area High School Auditorium. Eighth Grade students will be recognized for their contributions and achievements at the Mars Area Middle School.

After the ceremony, students will go to the Mars Area Middle School for the dance. The dance will end at 9:30 pm. When selecting attire, please keep in mind the following guidelines. Girls may wear sundresses, skirts and tops, casual dresses or dress slacks and tops. Boys should wear dress slacks or khaki pants and a collared shirt. Shorts, jeans, tennis shoes, and t-shirts for both boys and girls would be too casual and would not be appropriate. We encourage all students to “look their best”, and yet be comfortable for the dance. Please refer to Page 12 in the student handbook for the student dress code to ensure all attire is appropriate in length and style.
