Several members of Mars Area Middle School’s MathCounts Team will advance to the 2025 Pennsylvania MathCounts State Competition, to be held March 21-22 in Harrisburg, Pa.

The team of eighth-graders Blake Brewer and Aarya Raut and seventh-graders Jacqueline Li and Siddhartha Senthilkumar earned first place at the 2025 MathCounts Midwestern Chapter regional competition, held on Feb. 10.

Seventh-graders Clair Armburger and Nihit Mittal will also advance to the state event to compete as individual mathletes. Eighth-grader Rhythm Srivastava also participated in the regional event.
