Mars Area Middle School introduced the members of its 2026-2027 Student Council at a Fall School Spirit Assembly on Sept. 25.

Student Council members are eighth-graders Michael Bowser, Reese Carrel, Chase Christy, Grant Collins, Garrett Constant, Ziqian Feng, David Hall, Teddy Meriwether, Kate Sherwin, Aspen Stepanic, Luke Thomas; and seventh-graders Samantha Beckert, A.J. Moraites, Grayson Miller, Jackson Nuttal, Nico Porco, Tyler Pyle, Sadie Rhoads, Nora Schlosser, Cameron Seegers, Orlando Stritzinger and Tanner Tomko. Student Council elections were held Sept. 22-23. The elected members will vote to select a president, vice president and secretary.

In addition, during the assembly, students in seventh- and eighth- competed in a variety of activities and events, including a Balloon/Knee Relay, Bean Bag Toss, Hula Hoop Jump Relay, Pumpkin Pass Relay and Tug of War.
