Several members of Mars Area Middle School Speech & Debate Team competed in the North Allegheny School District Middle School Speech & Debate Tournament, held Feb. 25.

Eighth-grader Quinn McNichols and seventh-grader Lila Edwards earned first place and eighth-graders Joseph Devich and Aarush Kollipara took fourth place in Parliamentary Debate. Eighth-grader Mackenzie Allshouse took second place and eighth-grader Madeleine Garraux received fourth place in Humorous Interpretation.

Eighth-grader Aanya Mistry earned fourth place in Congress. Eighth-grader Madeleine Garraux took fourth and eighth-grader Mary Rhenish received sixth place in Prose & Poetry.
